Wikipedia Born on June 8, 1981, he graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as a captain in the U.S. Army during the Iraq War. After his military service, James earned a Master of Supply Chain Management and Information Systems from Penn State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. He then joined his family's business, James Group International, eventually becoming its president.
In politics, James was the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Michigan in 2018 and 2020. In 2022, he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Michigan's 10th congressional district, which includes parts of Macomb and Oakland counties.

John has also had the honor of speaking at the Mackinac Policy Conference in 2014.
John is currently serving as Chairman of Michigan Veteran’s Trust Fund, Read to a Child, Regional Board Member and is a member of Kappa Delta Lambda, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
